What is the story about?
The angel Angelica finds a small and lonely baby dragon in an abandoned sky garden. When the dragon Dixie has lived with Angelica for 1035 years, he feels a longing to know about his roots.
Angelica gathers a travelling crew – with the help from “the one who knows it all” and so the journey begins through universes with danger and meeting other quirky beings.
This is an adventure or call it a fairy-tale, written with a touch of humour for both children and adults.
This book holds many loving messages about togetherness, the importance of family and it also stimulates children’s imagination that anything is possible.
We know it is important to talk to our children and this book gives you a handful of opportunities to do just that.

Book review of Angelica & Dixies journey
This magic and heart opening book is filled with numerous fine and quirky illustrations which takes your child on an adventurous inner and outer journey filled with happiness, dager, resistance, longing, and anxiousness.
The book inspires to conversation, introspection and reflection on the invisible world and feelings such as grief and longing.
In a light and lovely way, this book communicates what most children feels but what we as adults have shut off or forgotten.
All the beautiful illustrations are also a given for reflection and introspection and they show in the most loving and safest way, that life also holds magic and fairytales. Not just in the imagination but also in real life – if we just allow it.
The book also invites you and your child to feel and reflect on the greater questions in life such as hope and belives and each chapter has a theme which invites to conversation and question. E.g., about feelings, thoughts or if there is more between heaven and earth.
I belive the book can have a profound effect on children who are very sensitive, dreamers and reflecting – or just children in general who wonders about life, earth, heaven, and the universe. This way the book can give the larger children beliefs, hope and inner calmness and trust. Presents this world needs on a large scale indeed.
Therefore, I give this book my highest recommendation.
